1. Inconceivable [Blu-Ray] (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A new entry in an old genre, Inconceivable becomes a dull stab at a thriller. The movie fails to develop any form of tension or drama, factors that leave it as a slow slog. Starring Gina Gershon, Nicolas Cage. Lionsgate, $24.99, 8/29/2017.

2. Showgirls (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Ultimately Showgirls stands as a genuinely bad movie, and whether or not you'll enjoy it depends on your tolerance for campy trash. I won't really try to defend it on the grounds that much of the silliness does seem intentional, but I suppose that'll let the more pretentious folks feel better about watching it. Starring Elizabeth Berkley, Kyle MacLachlan

3. Showgirls [Blu-Ray] (1995)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: I hate to have to pan a movie that provides a memorable dry-hump scene, but I'm afraid I must. Showgirls is a few minutes of campy fun surrounded by long stretches of glossy boredom. The Blu-ray offers good picture and sound along with some fairly mediocre extras. This is the best release of Showgirls to date, but it remains a silly movie. Starring Eliz

4. Showgirls: VIP Edition (1995)

5. 9/11 (2017)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: A character drama set among tragedy, 9/11 fails to provide impact. Instead, it gives us a superficial, melodramatic tale that fizzles. Starring Charlie Sheen, Whoopi Goldberg. Fox, $29.99, 1/16/2018.

7. Pretty In Pink: I Love The 80's Edition (1986)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Fans of Pink will want to go with the 2006 Special Edition. It provided slightly superior picture quality along with more significant extras. All that and it actually retails for a couple dollars less than this “I Love the 80s” version. Skip this one and go with the SE. Starring Molly Ringwald, Harry Dean Stanton. Paramount, $14.99, 8/5/2008.

9. Red Heat [4K UHD] (1988)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: As much as I’d like to say Red Heat aged poorly, I doubt it fared any better 31 years ago. Slow, trite and predictable, the movie went nowhere. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jim Belushi. Lionsgate, $22.99, 10/29/2019.

10. Eastbound & Down: The Complete First Season (2009)
Reviewed by Colin Jacobson: Given the personnel behind Eastbound & Down, I figured I’d dislike the series. However, it actually musters a fair amount of entertainment and becomes pretty enjoyable ... Eastbound offers a surprisingly good series that keeps us interested for its short season. Starring Danny McBride, Katy Mixon. HBO, $29.98, 6/30/2009.
